• Micro USB charging cable included
• Pods sold separately, in stock now

How the G Pen Gio Battery works

G Pen designed the Gio with a temperature sensor that holds each draw at the same heat. That keeps the flavor even from the first pull to the end of the pod. Push a pod in, draw, and it fires. There’s nothing to set.

The Gio fitting isn’t 510 thread, so standard carts won’t go on it. For 510 carts, use the Cookies Vape Cart Battery C-Cell 510 instead. The listing mentions color options in white, black and Cookies blue; the photo shows the blue one, so email us if you want a specific color.

What’s in the box with the G Pen Gio Battery

You get the Gio battery and a micro USB charging cable. Pods aren’t included. Our three Cookies CBD Gio pods are the Cereal Milk G Pen Gio Cookies CBD Pod, Gelatti G Pen Gio Cookies CBD Pod, London Pound Cake G Pen Gio Cookies CBD Pod, each with 175mg of hemp-derived CBD and $20 apiece.

Charging and care

1. Charge it with the included cable until the light shows full.
2. Use a computer port or a basic wall plug, not a fast charger.
3. Don’t leave it in a hot car or in direct sun.
4. Take the pod out if you won’t use it for a while.

If the light flashes and nothing happens, the pod may not be seated. Pull it out, check the contacts are clean and dry, and push it back in. Our G Pen Gio Cookies guide explains the light codes and charging times in more detail. For general background on vape batteries, see the Wikipedia article on vaporizers.

Battery life and charging time

How long a charge lasts depends on how you use it. Long, hard draws drain it faster than short ones, and a cold battery gives out sooner. For most people a full charge covers a normal day. Charging from empty takes a while on micro USB, so plug it in when you get home, not when it’s already dead and you want to use it.

Is the G Pen Gio Battery worth it?

If you like the idea of a battery that handles the heat for you, yes. Gio pods cost the same as our 510 carts, so the main difference is the battery. People who already own a good 510 battery can stick with Cookies 510 carts. Both batteries are listed in Cookies Cart Batteries.
